In the capital city bound by the Three Qin,
00 Gazing towards the landscape of the Five Fords,
We who have served at posts so far from home 
Must now bid each other farewell. 
Close friends remain close friends wherever they roam; 
Even at the earth's end, you would seem next door. 
Before this crossroad let's not $act as little children,$ 
00 Drenching our handkerchiefs with tears.
